Thanks to its excellent location, numerous attractions and destinations in the surrounding area can be reached quickly and easily. Nearby highlights include the Limes Therme and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Danube Limes with the Roman fort of Abusina. The Bavarian Jura, the Hallertau – the world’s largest continuous hop-growing region, and the Hundertwasser Tower in Abensberg are also ideal destinations for exploring the region. Nature lovers can discover the Weltenburger Enge, a Bavarian National Natural Monument, as well as the Altmühltal Nature Park and the impressive Schulerloch dripstone cave.
